The battery is low and needs recharging. Connect Roomba to a battery charger (or Home Base) and recharge the battery.
“Ehh”

The cliff sensors are dirty or malfunctioning.
  • Pick up Roomba and turn it over.
  • Check for debris underneath the front bumper and around the cliff sensors.
  • Wipe the cliff sensors with a lint-free cloth or use compressed air to clean them out.
“Uh-oh”

The side wheel is stuck or is not touching the ground. Lift Roomba off the floor and place it in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.
“Uh-oh” plus 1 Beep The main brushes stalled.
  • Pick up Roomba and turn it over. Remove the brush guard.
  • Remove the main brushes and inspect them for any obstruction.
“Uh-oh” plus 2 Beeps The side brush stalled.
  • Pick up Roomba and turn it over.
  • Inspect the side brush for dirt or obstructions.
  • Remove the side brush with a screw driver and check for string or hair wrapped under it.
  • Replace the side brush, place Roomba in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.
“Uh-oh” plus 3 Beeps The vacuum stalled.
  • Remove and empty the bin.
  • Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the grill at the back of the dirt bin.
  • Spin the vacuum impeller around, shaking out any debris that may be stuck.
  • Replace the grill and the dirt bin if problem persists.
“Uh-oh” plus 4 Beeps The side wheels stalled.
  • Lift Roomba off the floor and place it in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.
  • If Roomba did not resume cleaning, lift Roomba and turn it over. Inspect the side wheels for dirt or obstructions.
  • Test the side wheels by pushing them in and out and making sure they rotate freely. Place Roomba in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.
“Uh-oh” plus 5 Beeps The cliff sensors are obstructed.
  • Pick up Roomba and turn it over.
  • Check for any debris that might be caught underneath the front bumper, around the cliff sensors.
  • Wipe the cliff sensors with a lint-free cloth or use compressed air to clean them out.
“Uh-oh” plus 6 Beeps The wheel drop sensors are overloaded.
  • Lift Roomba off the floor and place it in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.
“Uh-oh” plus 9 Beeps The wheel drop sensors have failed at startup. Contact iRobot Customer Care.
“Uh-oh” plus 10 Beeps The bumper is not registering obstacles.
  • Check to see that Roomba is not stuck in one place and move Roomba away from obstructions.
  • Briskly tap the bumper on all sides several times to loosen any debris that may be lodged in it.
  • Lift Roomba off the floor and place it in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.

No voice message. The bumper is not registering obstacles. Roomba may be stuck in one place. Tap the bumper to confirm it is working properly. If this error occurs when Roomba is circling, clean the wheels of hair and debris. If Roomba is in an extremely large room, use a Virtual Wall to create a smaller cleaning area.
“Error one four (1-4). Re-install Roomba’s bin then press CLEAN to restart.” Roomba is not detecting an installed bin. Bin and Bin Contacts
